Our liqueur Sorbets ,or Water Ices, our made from a simple recipe of sweetened water, real liqueurs & fruit purees. Thanks to this straight forward approach they pack a real punch when it comes to delivering flavour & natural colour.
Folklore would have it that the Roman Emperor Nero, invented sorbet during the first century AD. He mixed buckets of snow from the mountains with honey wine during his banquets. The snow, was passed by hand along the Appian way to his banquet hall.
We are certainly glad things have moved on now as there are not too many mountains in Norfolk!
